Philippines and China Coast Guards Discuss Proposed Cooperation Amid South China Sea Tensions

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has distanced itself from a proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cooperation with the China Coast Guard, with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) stating it will be discussed at the next South China Sea meeting with Beijing.
