Lithuanian Constitution: Does Sovereignty Belong to the Nation or Constitutional Court?
Article 2 of the Lithuanian Constitution states that 'The Lithuanian State shall be created by the Nation. Sovereignty shall belong to the Nation,' but some constitutional clerics argue it belongs to the Constitutional Court.
