CBI takes over Suvendu ex-aide murder probe

The CBI has filed an FIR and initiated an investigation into the murder of Chandranath Rath, former personal assistant to West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari. A seven-member SIT, led by a DIG-rank officer, has been formed to probe the case, with a meeting held at CBI headquarters to review developments and seek remand of arrested suspects.
