Kraći roman "Potonuće" nije priča samo o migrantima koji su se udavili zato što po njih glavna junakinja nije poslala čamac za spasavanje i njenoj odbrani u kojoj je ukazivala na mnogo veći problem, globalni problem, problem koji je (naizgled) sasvim izvan njene kontrole, izvan kontrole svakoga od nas.
