Giant Tadpoles of Rare Amphibian Found in Slovakian Wetland
Conservationists in a protected wetland in Slovakia have reported finding exceptionally large tadpoles of the common spadefoot toad, an extremely rare amphibian whose young are among the largest in Europe and can grow to surprising sizes.
