Icelandic Veterinarians Unwilling to Sacrifice Private Life for Low Wages
Bára Eyfjörð Heimisdóttir, head of the Icelandic Veterinary Association, stated that veterinarians are not receiving decent wages for on-call duties and are unwilling to sacrifice their private lives for poor pay, following an announcement from the Food and Veterinary Authority about staffing shortages.
