Half of Japan's Bank Deposits Concentrated in Greater Tokyo Area
As of March 31 this year, 50% of Japan's total bank deposits, amounting to ¥523.1 trillion, are held within the greater Tokyo area, encompassing the capital and Kanagawa, Saitama, and Chiba prefectures.
