Thief Flees by Kayak After Robbery, Arrested on Walensee
A burglar in Weesen was surprised by residents of a single-family home on Sunday evening. He attempted to escape by fleeing across Lake Walen (Walensee) in a stolen kayak but was subsequently arrested by police.
