Samsung SDI Secures Cathode Deal Amid US Shift from Chinese Battery Supply Chains
The United States is expanding efforts to reduce reliance on Chinese battery supply chains, creating opportunities for Korean manufacturers. In line with this, Samsung SDI has signed a 1.6 trillion won cathode supply deal with L&F to strengthen its North American energy storage system market position with a battery materials supply chain outside China.
