Lithuanian unemployment rate at 6.4% in January, above EU average

Unemployment in Lithuania reached 6.4% in January, a decrease from December but still 0.6 percentage points higher than the European Union average of 5.8%, according to Eurostat.

Nedarbas Lietuvoje šių metų sausį siekė 6,4 proc. – 0,3 proc. punkto mažiau pernai gruodį ir 0,4 proc. punkto mažiau nei prieš metus, skelbia Eurostatas. Tuo metu bendras Europos Sąjungos (ES) nedarbo lygio vidurkis sausį buvo 5,8 proc., euro zonoje – 6,1 proc.
