Czech 'Tree of the Year' Winner Cedes Prize to Needy Lime Tree
A historic pear tree from Míkovice, winner of the national 'Tree of the Year' contest, has given up its prize of specialized root treatment. Experts determined that a lime tree in the town center was in greater need of the care.
