The Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) is investigating the continued illegal transport of heavily pregnant dairy cows to slaughterhouses in the Netherlands, a practice prohibited by law. This comes after figures were requested by the activist group Wakker Dier.
