Kumamoto Yatsushiro City Council Members Arrested on Bribery Charges

Two city council members in Yatsushiro, Kumamoto Prefecture, including Yukio Narimatsu, have been arrested on suspicion of accepting 60 million yen in bribes from a construction company. The alleged bribes were in exchange for facilitating bids for the new city hall construction project, which was rebuilt after the Kumamoto earthquake.
