Flightradar24 records busiest day in commercial aviation

More than 153,000 commercial flights crossed the world's skies on 23 July, setting a new record for the highest number of commercial services tracked in a single day by Flightradar24. The flight tracking platform said it recorded 153,359 commercial flights during the 24-hour period, surpassing its previous record of 137,225 flights, which was set on 13 July 2023. The new figure exceeded the earlier record by 16,134 flights, an increase of almost 12 per cent.
