Heavy rain lashes Delhi, IMD issues orange alert as waterlogging slows traffic

Delhi received an orange alert from the India Meteorological Department for moderate to heavy rain. The city experienced much-needed relief from sultry weather as temperatures dipped below normal. Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 26.6 degrees Celsius, which was below the seasonal average. The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 32 degrees Celsius today. Meanwhile, the city's air quality remained in the satisfactory category.
