Indian Court Rules Sleeping on Pavement Doesn't Add to Driver's Negligence

An Indian court has ruled that a pedestrian sleeping on a pavement does not contribute to the negligence of an offending driver, stating that pedestrians cannot anticipate a vehicle driving onto the footpath.
