Fiocruz Honors Scientists Targeted by Brazilian Military Dictatorship
Fiocruz has posthumously awarded titles to ten scientists who were victims of Brazil's military dictatorship in an event known as the 'Massacre de Manguinhos' in 1970. These scientists had their political rights revoked and were dismissed from their positions.
