Portugal Considers Stricter Traffic Fines for Speeding and Drunk Driving
Portugal's Ministry of Internal Administration (MAI) is proposing to increase fines for speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol. The ministry also seeks to end the public disclosure of 'STOP' operations and impose harsher penalties for dangerous driving maneuvers, with the exact amount of the fine increases yet to be determined.
