Netherlands Responds to Extreme Heat with School Adjustments and Cool-Down Spots
The Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) has issued a Code Orange warning for extreme heat, with temperatures expected to reach 36°C. In response, Amsterdam is opening 12 cool-down locations, and schools are implementing special rosters.
