Supreme Court Collegium to Transfer Judges Proposed as High Court CJs

The Supreme Court collegium, led by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, has decided to transfer judges proposed to be Chief Justices of High Courts well in advance, to allow them to become conversant with the affairs of that High Court before assuming charge.
