Calgary's Decorated WWII Veteran, Capt. William Wilson, Dies at 101
Navy Captain William (Bill) Wilson, one of Calgary's most decorated Second World War veterans, has died at the age of 101. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy in 1942, serving aboard HMCS Ottawa and participating in the D-Day landings at Normandy.
