West Bengal Announces Monthly Pension for Emergency-Era Detainees

The West Bengal government has announced a monthly pension of Rs 10,000 for individuals who were jailed during the Emergency period. Suvendu Adhikari stated that the new government is built on the ideals of those who sacrificed for the country.
