EXIM Bank case against Wontumi adjourned to July 27 as plea negotiations continue

Proceedings in the criminal case involving the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, have been adjourned until July 27, 2026, to allow ongoing plea negotiations between the prosecution and the defence to continue.
