French State Blamed for Chlordecone Pesticide Scandal in Overseas Territories

French lawmakers have passed a bill unanimously, holding the state partly responsible for the chlordecone pesticide scandal and requiring decontamination of polluted soil, as over 90% of adults in Martinique and Guadeloupe are contaminated.
