Indian Government Drafts Notification to Include Iron, Steel Sectors Under CCTS
The Indian government has issued a draft notification proposing to expand the scope of the Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS) to include the iron and steel sectors, building on the scheme notified in 2023 which already covers sectors like aluminium, cement, petroleum refineries, and textiles.
