Stalker Victim Consultations Reach Second Highest on Record in Japan
The number of consultations regarding stalking incidents received by police nationwide in Japan last year exceeded 20,000, marking the second-highest figure since statistics began. The National Police Agency plans to strengthen countermeasures, including connecting perpetrators with medical institutions.
