Latvian Police Investigate €2 Million Fraud Scheme, Identify 170 Money Mules

Latvian State Police are investigating a criminal case involving 35 combined fraud cases from 2023-2024, totaling 2 million euros. Scammers, posing as police and bank employees, gained trust and defrauded Latvian residents, leading to the identification of over 170 money mules and illegal cryptocurrency exchangers.
