Dzięki programowi "Moje Zdrowie" liczba wykrytych zakażeń wirusem HCV wzrosła o 20 proc. Eksperci podkreślają, że to ważny krok w walce z wirusowym zapaleniem wątroby typu C (WZW C), ale tempo diagnozowania nadal jest zbyt wolne, by Polska mogła osiągnąć cele wyznaczone przez WHO. Szacuje się, że wciąż nawet 130 tysięcy zakażonych osób nie wie o swojej chorobie.
