Philippine DOE Forms Task Force to Remove VAT and System Loss Charges from Electricity Bills

The Department of Energy in the Philippines has established an inter-agency Joint Task Force with power sector regulators and distributors to implement the president's directive to eliminate system loss charges and their associated Value-Added Tax from monthly electricity bills.
