Icelandic Banks Underutilize Central Bank's Real Estate Exemption
Lenders in Iceland are making limited use of the Central Bank's exemption for real estate purchases, despite the allowance being doubled last year. Banks and pension funds are utilizing only about a fifth of the available exemption.
