Poland Launches Free Lung Cancer Screening Program

The Polish Ministry of Health is set to launch a free lung cancer screening program on October 1st. The initiative will offer low-dose CT scans to current and former smokers who meet specific criteria, aiming to detect lung cancer early.

Program Ministerstwa Zdrowia obejmie obecnych i byłych palaczy, którzy spełniają określone kryteria. Niskodawkowa tomografia komputerowa pozwala wykryć niepokojące zmiany na bardzo wczesnym etapie, zanim pojawią się charakterystyczne objawy choroby.
