Germany Pledges Aid for Chernobyl Sarcophagus Repair
German Environment Minister Karsten Schneider pledged during his visit to Kyiv to help Ukraine repair the protective sarcophagus covering the damaged reactor at Chernobyl. He emphasized the need for the protective casing over the destroyed reactor to be repaired.
