AkzoNobel Rejects €12.5 Billion Takeover Bid, Reaffirms Merger Plan
Dutch paint and coatings company AkzoNobel has rejected a €12.5 billion cash takeover bid from Nippon Paint and Sherwin-Williams. The company has instead reiterated its preference for its own merger and restructuring plans.
