R&B engineer who took up US job 20 years ago still on govt rolls

A Telangana engineer remains on government rolls after two decades abroad. He left for the US in 2006 without mandatory approval and returned briefly. The state government has initiated disciplinary proceedings against the engineer for misconduct. These proceedings aim to determine charges and decide further action for termination. The engineer has not submitted a defense statement to the inquiry authority.
