ECB Expresses Concern Over Private Euro Stablecoins as Polish Bank Joins Initiative
The European Central Bank's head is concerned about private euro stablecoins, as commercial banks, including a major Polish bank, are developing digital currency solutions that the ECB had hoped to reserve for its own digital euro. Japan is also preparing its state-backed digital currency.
