UK Regulator Fines Porn Company £1.35 Million for Age Verification Failures
The UK media regulator Ofcom has imposed a record fine of £1.35 million on pornographic company 8579 LLC for failing to implement adequate age verification controls. An additional £50,000 fine was issued for non-compliance with an information request.
