Buldak boom lifts Samyang to record overseas sales

Samyang Foods has reported 770.3 billion won ($545.8 million) in second quarter sales, up 39.3 percent from the same period last year, on the back of strong overseas demand. According to the Korean instant noodle maker, it logged 176.2 billion won in operating profit during the period, which is 46.7 percent more than the April-to-June figure recorded in 2025.
