EU Sets 2030 Renewable Energy Target, Biomethane Highlighted
The European Union has established a binding target for renewable energy sources to reach at least 42.5 percent of gross final consumption by 2030. Biomethane is being promoted as a domestic renewable source for reliable decarbonization of heating.
