Lithuanian Academy Criticizes LRT Law Amendments

The Lithuanian Academy of Sciences (LMA) has criticized parts of the proposed amendments to the Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) law, arguing that they only offer a 'cosmetic review' of the council formation procedure. The Seimas approved the amendments after their submission last week.
