Govt proposes 25% quota for local students in Delhi private universities

Delhi government approved a bill to establish private universities in the capital. The proposed legislation mandates twenty-five percent seat reservation for Delhi students. Merit-cum-means scholarships will also provide financial relief to many local students. A stringent regulatory framework will govern these new private institutions. The government aims to enhance higher education access and quality for residents.
