Spanish Prime Minister's Wife Begoña Gómez Referred to Trial on Corruption and Bribery Charges
Begoña Gómez, wife of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, has been formally accused of multiple instances of bribery. A Madrid court has now referred her to trial on charges including embezzlement, undue influence, business corruption, and trademark misappropriation.
