Man Rescued Off Azores Coast After Achilles Tendon Rupture

The Portuguese Navy coordinated the rescue of a man suffering from a complete Achilles tendon rupture off the coast of the Azores. The victim was transported by helicopter to Terceira Island airport and then taken to a hospital.
