US designates Sudan's Muslim Brotherhood as terrorist organization

The U.S. Department of State has designated the Sudanese Muslim Brotherhood as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist entity, with intentions to classify it as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation by March 2026, citing financial backing from Iran.
