Italy hosts two pre-summits before European Council

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MAR 19 - Italy on Thursday hosted two informal pre-summit coordination meetings ahead of the European Council in Brussels, sources said. The first one on competitiveness was hosted by Premier Giorgia Meloni, along with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever.
