Potravinovým ombudsmanem bude Jindřich Fialka, dosavadní vrchní ředitel sekce potravinářství ministerstva zemědělství. Fialka bude mít za úkol zvýšit transparentnost v potravinovém řetězci a pomáhat chránit práva spotřebitelů, tuzemských zemědělců i výrobců potravin. Novinářům to ve čtvrtek řekl ministr zemědělství Martin Šebestyán (za SPD).
