'Voice of Naples' singer-actress Angela Luce dies

(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 20 - Italian actress and singer Angela Luce has died at the age of 88, sources said on Friday. Known as the 'voice of Naples', Luce worked with Italian cinema greats such as Nino Manfredi, Marcello Mastroianni and Toto in a long and prolific career in which she starred in dozens of films. She won the 1995 David di Donatello award, Italy's equivalent of the Oscars, for best-supporting actress for her performance in Mario Martone's Troubling Love (L'Amore Molesto).
