Rental Scam Uses Holiday Apartment as Bait to Defraud Victim of Nearly €2,000

A software engineer was defrauded of almost €2,000 in a rental scam where a holiday apartment in Crumlin was used as bait, leading the victim to transfer money to an alleged 'landlord' before discovering the deception.
