Afghan Man Accused of Murdering Aid Worker in Athens

A 26-year-old Afghan man has been accused of strangling an aid worker in Athens, whose body was found in a suitcase in an abandoned house. The victim had helped victims of domestic violence and refugees, including those from Afghanistan and Iran, and the suspect allegedly withdrew money from her account after her death.

Pomáhala obětem domácího násilí a uprchlíkům, především těm z Afghánistánu a Íránu. Nakonec ji v Aténách udusil šestadvacetiletý Afghánec a její tělo narval do kufru, který odložil v opuštěném domě. Následujících několik dní vybíral peníze z jejího účtu a posílal z jejího telefonu zprávy příbuzným.
