Afrobarometer Report Reveals Economic Hardship Drives African Emigration Intentions
A new Afrobarometer report indicates that nearly half of all Africans are considering emigration, primarily driven by economic hardship, poverty, and a lack of job opportunities. The survey also found that while support for free trade is high, awareness of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) remains low.
