Aichi Prefecture Aims to Become Japan's 'Sub-Capital'

Following the enactment of legislation related to the 'sub-capital' concept, Aichi Prefecture Governor and Nagoya City Mayor jointly announced their formal intention for Aichi to be designated as a 'sub-capital' to serve as an alternative to the main capital during large-scale disasters.
